Shark Bites

Shark Bites are made from ethically sourced and completely natural ingredients from Australia. The elongated strips of shark used in these treats are high in glucosamine, calcium, and omega 3 fatty acids, making them a healthy and nutritious snack. Additionally, their tough texture provides a long-lasting chew and acts as a natural abrasive to promote dental and gum health. With added benefits for maintaining bone, joint, and mobility health, Shark Bites are the perfect treat for your furry friend. Each 100g bag contains pieces that are between 6-14cm in length and 2-3cm thick.

Please note:
Charlie and Mia’s Barkery only sources shark from Australia. These fish are caught from human consumption as Flake and we then use the leftovers from human consumption parts for our treats. They are either North Queensland Black Tip or Australian Gummy shark. These are both common sharks in Australia. They are caught using sustainably practices with quota’s strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. These sharks are not endangered and are declared as least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
Please also note that these fish are primarily caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake.
